Banks Lake Camping has everything you need to camp in style. I’m surprised by how many poor reviews I have read on here. we’ve never had a problem with the staff, in fact they are super friendly and helpful.
This year there was an incident where a bunch of crazed college kids tried to take over the camp ground and partied all night long, and I mean all night. I woke up at 5 am and was surprised the party was still going strong. The staff was quick to resolve the problem and eventually the local authority had to come and make sure that they left.
It was a scary experience as these folks were drunk and screaming profanity as they tore out of their way to make sure we enjoy our stay.
I felt bad for the staff, they personally came and apologized to us and the other campers for having to witness it. So if you enjoy family camping in a beautiful setting with great amenities and a friendly staff then this is the place.
